Founded by Clare Styles and Laura Tan, our hybrid team has been carefully composed to ensure we cover the full spectrum of skills required to both imagine and implement a brand of note. Our specialism is in building brands that will appeal to the modern premium and luxury customer.
We think like grown-ups but we behave as flexibly as a start-up—our goal is to deliver business transformation but as quickly and simply as possible. We prefer to work collaboratively and when it suits, we function more like an in-house marketing team than an agency supplier.
Formerly a successful partnership as Executive Creative Director and Head of Strategy at Brand Union, Clare and Laura decided to set up on their own to pursue a shared passion for building notable brands. Together, they have created award-winning work for the likes of Jaguar, Land Rover, Shangri-La hotels and Pernod Ricard.
We build bespoke, specialist teams for each project and where relevant, we collaborate with our expert partners on additional marketing requirements such as digital, PR and advertising, acting as brand guardians throughout. We also have a wide network of influencers—particularly women from the luxury and fashion sectors—which we tap into for insights and collaborations.
At the heart of Clare’s work is a deep-rooted understanding of identity and brand expression, amassed throughout her career from a deliberately wide spectrum of leading creative agencies. Clare has held key roles at agencies including Brand Union, Exposure, Navyblue, Wieden + Kennedy and Phaidon, achieving a portfolio of award-winning work along the way.
She has worked with some of the world's most influential brands such as Prada, McLaren Automotive, Nike, London 2012, Levi's®, Ellesse, Nokia, Coca-Cola, Rizla and Sony.
Beyond this, Clare helps support her industry as a guest lecturer at several universities and design organisations.
Laura is a Creative Strategist with a multi-disciplinary and international marketing background. She learnt her trade on the prestigious WPP Fellowship graduate programme and has held strategic roles at renowned agencies such as Brand Union, Digit, Ogilvy, Hill and Knowlton and JWT, in the UK, US and China.
In her spare time, Laura is a visiting lecturer at London College of Fashion as part of the Centre for Fashion Enterprise programme and consults with a number of fashion start-ups on their brand strategy. Laura has a First Class honours degree from the University of Oxford.
